Our Community Garden and Fitness Zone is a vibrant space designed to nurture the body and build connections between Sacramento’s youth and the city’s older adult community. This unique program combines the joy of gardening with the benefits of physical fitness to create a holistic environment for well-being. Participants can engage in sustainable gardening practices for small-spaces while learning how to stay fit on a budget. Our goal is to provide a welcoming, inclusive space where individuals of all ages can come together to grow, learn, and stay active, building a healthier, stronger Sacramento.
The Youth Academic Camp is designed to inspire young learners by combining the excitement of mathematics with the wonder of literature. Through interactive lessons, problem-solving sessions, engaging storytelling, and writing workshops, participants will enhance both their math and literacy skills in a fun, collaborative environment. This program nurtures critical thinking, creativity, and curiosity while providing personalized attention to help students build confidence in both subjects. The Business Builders program helps people in Sacramento who want to start a business but aren’t sure where to begin. Whether you already have an idea or are still figuring it out, this program will guide you through every step. In the bootcamp, you’ll learn how to come up with business ideas, do research to see if the idea could work, and start building your product or service. You’ll also get help forming a team, setting up legal basics, and finding ways to fund your business. In this program you will go from having no idea to creating a strong plan and building your business in Sacramento.
