About the Organizer
S erve Sacramento is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on improving and enriching the livability of Sacramento for historically marginalized communities. We do this through a range of initiatives that promote education, community health, small business support, and civic engagement. By offering youth-focused programs, like our Youth Summer Math Camp, we work to close the educational achievement gap for underserved students. Additionally, we facilitate community health initiatives that address disparities in access to healthcare and promote wellness in low-income neighborhoods.
Our organization also supports economic development through partnerships that provide small businesses in marginalized areas with resources, mentorship, and opportunities for growth. We believe that economic empowerment leads to stronger communities. Finally, we engage residents in the arts and civic life, fostering a sense of pride and unity in Sacramento’s historically overlooked neighborhoods. Through volunteer programs and collaborative community projects, we encourage collective action and sustained investment in the city's future.
Made possible by a grant from the Agency on Aging Area 4. Space donated by Center of Praise Ministries. Program Coordination by Serve Sacramento.
